About Session

Overview:
Looking at the CRC Code of Ethics section D.4. Diversity, Equity, and Belonging in Coworker Relationships. Training and discussion around how to create thriving safe spaces as a community where good working relationships are fostered that include trust, respect, self-awareness, and open communication. Includes a focus on creating inclusive work environments that are committed to minimizing barriers to opportunities for diverse colleagues.

 

Key Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand the ethical obligation of Rehabilitation Counselors and Workforce Development Professionals to create a safe and supportive workspace as a professional community.
  2. Increase attendee’s self-awareness of their own need for belonging in coworker relationships and how to extend that to others.
  3. Increase attendee’s self-awareness of barriers to opportunities for diverse colleagues to thrive in work teams.
