Oregon Employment & Training Association

The Oregon Employment & Training Association encourages professional development by providing several scholarships annually to OregonETA members who desire to attend trainings for which funds are not available from their employer. Any member in good standing for the past two consecutive years may apply for a scholarship valued up to $500. For any questions about scholarships, email us at scholarship@oregoneta.org

OregonETA Scholarship Guidelines:

1. Priority will be given to events that are related to workforce development.
2. Scholarships shall be awarded to OregonETA members who have been members for the last two years.
3. The maximum scholarship amount per person shall not exceed $500.00.
4. Application date must be at least two weeks prior to the training event date.
5. Scholarship recipients agree to write a short article for the OregonETA star (within three months of their training). Failure to submit an article (within one year) will disqualify an applicant from future scholarship considerations.
6. Board members are eligible to request scholarships. Board members are not allowed to vote on their own scholarship request.
7. Members are eligible to receive one scholarship every two years.
8. All payments will be in the form of reimbursement for actual expenses.
9. Applications will be accepted and considered, as funds are available.
